It takes a village for a successful 2021 year The events of the last term of school reflected the importance of our partnership with the MGS community for the holistic development of our girls.

The much-anticipated annual Father-Daughter Bonding was held online in November with activities that brought fathers and their girls closer together. Parents also contributed passionately towards Project Care for the Sec 4s and the Graduation Party for P6 students, enabling our graduating cohorts to finish well in their final year.

A Thank You event to appreciate all parents who had helped out in the school’s events and programmes was organised virtually. Indeed, undeterred by the pandemic situation, parents have warmly dedicated their time and effort and creatively found solutions to constraints and challenges, pivoting to new methods and platforms where necessary. In this way, they continued to play a meaningful role in nurturing the MGS girl throughout the year.

MGS girls could not have mastered, grown and served with Godliness, Excellence and Love without the support of their teachers, coaches, the church, alumnae, board of management and community partner organisations, as well as the frontliners who ensured the wellbeing of the school community. Together, they provide an environment for our girls to thrive and achieve - such that the 2021 school year has been one of deep positive impact.
