We are hiring Carpenter-Fabricators (NOC 72310) to join our team in Abbotsford. The ideal candidates will have a passion for the craft of carpentry with at least 5 years' carpentry experience, preferably with wood processing and be available to work afternoon shifts. These are fulltime positions reporting to the Shop Superintendent.

StructureCraft engineer-builds projects, overseeing everything from engineering to fabrication to installation.

Essential Duties may include:

  • Reading blueprints/shop drawings
  • Laying out, building templates, jigs, utilizing hand/shop and air tools
  • Employing best practice in fabrication and framing within prescribed tolerances in rough/finish carpentry through to coating application
  • Rigging and loading for site installation
  • Quality control/assurance and safety from start to finish

Job Requirements:

  • Journeyman ticket or equivalent with at least 5 years' experience
  • First Aid Level One, Fall Protection and WHMIS Certificates
  • Some selective project travel may be required
  • English is the language of work
  • This is a full-time permanent position
StructureCraft collaborates with architects, engineers, and developers across the globe.

Terms of Employment:

  • 40 hours per week, on day and/or afternoon shift
  • Salary range: $30-$38/hour, depending on experience.
  • Benefits include overtime in accordance with BC ESA, 10 days of vacation time per year, extended health, life insurance, disability insurance and matching RRSP after two years.
