Thank you for collecting sponsorships for the children's sponsored read. Any outstanding monies can be handed in on Monday 17th April. Please ensure the sponsorship cards are returned to school. Forest Friday

Dosbarth Collen enjoyed their extreme gardening session on Friday.

The Forest session during the first week after the Easter holidays will be dosbarth Collen. On Friday 21st April. They will be going to the Charles Ackers Redwoods, Leighton where Tim from the Royal Forestry Society will run the activities. They will be transported by minibus and will be back in school by lunchtime.

Outdoor Area

Thank you to Sophie Benbow for sourcing soil locally and persuading Boys & Boden to donate 2 dumpy bags of soil.

If you have any children's wheel barrows or garden tools you no longer use, we would be grateful for any donations. Thank you.

Parent Governor Vacancy

No nominations were received for the position of parent governor.

Parent Forum

After Easter, we hope to set up a Parent Forum. This is an opportunity for all parents to get involved in school life. It will be an informal group where parents can raise issues, be consulted on school policy, fundraising, upcoming trips and events, etc. and give their views. Parents are welcome to bring their own ideas of how this forum can develop.

If you would be interested in this, please complete the Form below to indicate what would be a preferable day / time to meet.

Eisteddfod

Thank you to the school governors for coming in on Wednesday to judge the art and handwriting entries. They said 'It was a delight to judge the children’s entries today. They were all fabulous and we could see how much thought and care was put in. The entries were all brilliant and it was so difficult to place the entries. Da iawn pawb!'

Well done to all those pupils who practised and performed their poems, songs and dances. The children enjoyed the competitions and were excited to find out who were the winners each time.

The Criw Cymraeg announced the competitions confidently and presented the certificates.

The final scores were close. The overall winners were with Tîm Coch with 184 points.

Other photographs will be available to see on the school website (under 'Year in Pictures'.)
