InnerGy is in everything, everywhere...
InnerGy can trace her beginnings to an early interest in writing, drama and theatre. Growing up in a house hold that allowed her plenty of creative freedom is a big part of why she is confident in her unique sense of self-expression. She believes life is a stage and we all play a role in each other’s stories. She uses this ideology to help her stay true to herself. Through it, she controls what you see, hear and feel.
Surprisingly, the path of a career as an Entertainer didn’t take root until her mid twenties. Inspired by her journey into motherhood, a renewed outlook allowed this unconventional thinker to see herself, life and livelihood in a new light. On a journey of self discovery, her ideas are ever evolving and changing the way we see independent, self- starting, grass roots creators alike. Looking at her you wouldn’t believe the stories that she tells of her experiences navigating her way through it all. Even in the most uncertain times she feels sure in her decisions. She says she’s “spirit led” and trusts in her intuition to guide her in all that she does. She describes times where ideas have dropped into her mind, spontaneously she acts and usually finds her self happier for it. The consistency of this pattern of success has helped this young visionary soar to the top ranks of local arts industry and has earned her recognition in many ways.
Experimenting with her talents has lead her to exploring Comedy, a craft shes always held a secret desire to develop as well as Modeling both print and runway and Acting. A collection of cameos, you can catch scenes of her in some pretty famous St. Louis based Artists videos. She has also collaborated with other local talents to produce a live action “black-exploitation” web- series where she stars as “Super Sister” a white supremacy fighting super hero.
A thrilling ride, we see InnerGy living up to her name. “In everything, everywhere!” There isn’t too much this mover and shaker hasn’t gotten her hands on or into. With her latest endeavors focused on music, it’s exciting to see the many transformations throughout her journey. Already she’s featured on several songs, and has plans for a project of her own.
Her style and fashion sense is just as unique as her interests. She uses her body as a canvas and sees hair, clothing and accessories as mixed media. Electric, eccentric, elaborate are threeAn affinity for bright, bold colors and patterns, you can easily spot this fabulous fashionista in a crowd. CopperStone her hand made accessories designer label, adorn her crown, wrists, fingers and neck. She merges her love of the healing crystals with her custom crafted creations.
She expertly merges her many talents and skills. Several gained while producing WORDUP! a multi-genre Arts and Entertainment platform that highlights the local St. Louis based creative community. At 5 years, it serves as one of the most popular open mics featuring live music, poetry and comedy.
Whatever she takes on, she does it with a determination and focus not seen in many her age. She continues to defy the odds stacked against her in a male dominated industry with only her own wits and resources. Knowing that this is only the beginning, lets continue to support and uplift her as she makes her energy felt and her name remembered.
