GARVEY NUTRITION CENTER

UCF is one of the few universities with a nutrition center solely for student-athletes.

Athletes are given meal cards to get breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Allows athletes to get the proper nutrition to maintain a high level of play.

Conference Champions

For the first time since joining the American, UCF won the Indoor and Outdoor Conference Championship in 2022.

UCF has amassed 16 conference titles since 1997, with 13 of those coming during outdoor competition.

The Knights have won at least one league title in all three conferences in which they have been a member.

ALL-AMERICANS

Since 2008, The UCF Track & Field Program has had 35 athletes earn 92.

Lizzie Harris was the first Knight to earn All-America Honors, Finishing 15th in the high jump at the 2008 NCAA Indoor Championship.

The most recent All-American Honors belong to Rayniah Jones, Ciara Holback, Beyonce Defreitas, I'Asia Wilson, Brittany Floyd, Asherah Collins, and Adrinne Adams. The UCF 4x1 Squad earned first team All-American honors by finishing seventh in the final. Floyd was the first Knight to reach nationals for the heptathlon and was tabbed as a second team All-American with her 16th place finish. Collins and Adams were both named honorable mention All-Americans in the triple jump and discus.

KNIGHTS AT THE NCAAS

UCF has sent representatives to 20 NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships.

The Knights have posted five Top 20 finishes as a team, including a pair of 5th place finishes at the 2013 Indoor and Outdoor championships.

At the 2013 Outdoor Championships, UCF became the first non-BCS program since 2000 to earn a top-five finish.

Aurieyall Scott became UCF's first NCAA individual champion, capturing the 60-meter dash title at the 2013 indoor championship.

The future is big

On July 1, 2023 UCF will officially enter the Big XII Conference. This is a monumental step for the institution, enhancing both the competition and educational opportunities for all student athletes.
