Session Formats
Proposals should be submitted for one of the following formats:
- Presentation (15 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A), or
- Poster presentation (in-person and/or pre-recorded)
Your proposal needs to show how your session fits with the conference theme and must address the selection criteria that will be used by the review panel (see below). Session outlines should be detailed enough for delegates to have an idea of what to expect when attending and should be reflected in the content delivered. Please keep in mind that the proposal you submit now will, if accepted, be used in the conference programme published on the SALT website, and is the primary way that participants will choose sessions to attend.
Please note, sessions can be presented in the medium of Welsh and English.
Selection Criteria
- Does the proposed content align with the conference theme?
- Are the session outcomes achievable and clear?
- Does the proposal include the sharing of pedagogical research data, or evidence from approaches to assessment, marking or feedback, which have resulted in valuable outcomes?
- Does the proposal include a clear explanation of how knowledge gained from the session could benefit colleagues from the wider learning and teaching community?
- Does the proposal suggest the session would have a positive impact on assessment, marking and feedback practices at Swansea?
