Problem and solution

Problem:The Roman Empire was often invaded by barbarian tribes, causing the collapse of the Empire

Gothic people

Solution 1:The Romans could have fourtified the north by building small walls or at least set up military patrols.

Solution 2: Although this solution is less doable because of the poor econmy and lack of military power the romans could have launched a full on Invasion the Goths

Solution 3:The Romans could have came to an agreement and made peace, you may ask why they didn't do this? The peace deal would likely not work because A. the Goths were barbaric and would not likely keep the deal and B. The Romans were on the verge of collapse anyway and peace would only delay the death of Rome
