  • Wim Wenders (Doctor of Letters)
  • Baron Darzi of Denham (Doctor of Science)
  • Dr Mo Ibrahim (Doctor of Science)

If the resolutions are approved, the honorary degrees will be conferred at the Encaenia on 22 June 2022; degrees will also be conferred upon those honorands who were unable to attend Encaenia 2021.

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Nelson Mandela Fellow and 8th Secretary-General of the United Nations, will lecture at 5pm on 11 March at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies: ‘How to overcome global crises: climate change and pandemics’

Baroness Nuala O’Loan will give the 2022 Las Casas Annual Lecture at 5pm on 24 February online: ‘The road to reconciliation and restoration: a journey of courage and compassion’
