The Men’s Decathlon and Women’s Heptathlon includes: a combination of events, held over two days each. Points are awarded for each event and the overall winner is the athlete with the most points. The decathlon includes ten events in the following order, for the first day: 100m, long jump, shot put, high jump, 400m. The no second day events are 110m hurdles, discus throw, pole vault, javelin, 1500m. The heptathlon includes seven events in the following order, for the first day: 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put and 200m. The second day events are long jump, javelin and 800m. Race walking is a special long-distance race event in which the participants must walk as fast as they can, while they are expected to maintain good form. The competitors are penalized for bending the knee as it passes under the body or having no foot-to-ground contact. The men compete in both 20km and 50km events, women only in the 20km event. The marathon is a long-distance running event, taking place over a course of 42.195km or (26 miles & 385 yds.) in length.

Rules and Prohibited Items: Balls, frisbees, or other athletic equipment; laser lights or pointers; artificial noisemaking devices (air horns, bells, bullhorns, whistles); inflatable devices (balloons, beach balls, etc.). Masks and face coverings, other than what is worn for COVID-19 safety.
Purse larger than a clutch (4.5” x 6.5”) or bag including but not limited to briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, diaper bags, cinch bags, cooler bags, computer bags, camera bags, binocular case or luggage of any kind. Outside food, outside beverages (including alcohol).
COVID-19 Statement: A COVID Impact Statement is an optional statement that faculty can include in their annual review materials. Parking: Fans are allowed to park in all non-residential campus parking areas (areas that are coded with ‘E’ or ‘W’).
Restrooms: Men/ Women’s and Family Restrooms are usually located on each side of the facility or track.
Handicap: DISABLED SERVICES Handicapped Parking Handicapped parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis in the first row of the MUSC Lot on Fishburne Street. A state approved handicapped permit is necessary and you must pay the appropriate parking fee. Handicapped Shuttle: Shuttle service begins 90 minutes before kick-off and runs continuously until 30 minutes after the end of the game. Wheelchair Seating: Wheelchair seating is available on both the East and West stands in reserved and general admission sections. Please let the ticket office staff know that you require wheelchair accessible seating when placing your ticket order.
ATMs: Two ATMs are available for use during the track field located near the each sides of the exits.
