Future members of Pirate Nation flocked to campus Saturday, March 25, for ECU's annual Pirates Aboard! Admitted Student Day.
Admitted students and their families were invited to attend the university’s campuswide celebration while having the opportunity to meet faculty and spend time learning about their intended major. Students also attended topical information sessions, took part in admitted student tours, participated in a campuswide activity fair and got to know Pirate Nation inside and out.

By the Numbers
- 1,743 student attendees with nearly 4,750 total guests.
- 46 department, college and program academic info sessions and open houses.
- 70 departments and programs took part in the Academic Fair.
- 80 student organizations and campus life resources took part in the Student Life Fair.
- More than 400 staff members across campus helped with the event, including Pirate Navigators, ECU Ambassadors, admissions staff, faculty, bus drivers, parking and transit, dining staff, and more.
Important Dates Ahead
- April 24: Begin registering for courses
- May 1: Enrollment and housing deposits due
- June/July: New student orientation
- July 15: Submit official transcripts
