ITA Most Improved Senior Award honors a senior who showed the most improvement over the course of their collegiate career.
Virginie was part of Angelo State's first recruiting class in 2017 with the new program. She has served as a SAAC rep for all 4 years. As a freshman, she went 14-8 in singles and 16-8 in doubles. Sophomore she went 9-8 in singles and 16-5 in doubles with a torn ligament in her knee. 2020 she was 4-1 in singles and 10-0 in doubles. In her Senior year, she by far her best season at 16-3 in singles and 13-4 in doubles. She has been regionally ranked in doubles throughout her career. She has helped Angelo State to 2 conference titles 2019 & 2021.

We are so proud of Virginie and all she has done for our program. She was part of our initial recruiting class in 2017 and this past season has been her best. Her leadership has been essential to our success and we were so happy to see her hard work pay off this season!
