Junior Fair Night - Monday July 3, 2017

To open the 2017 Harrison County Fair, members and guests were recognized for their achievements. Members were awarded for their Outstanding Project Knowledge. Alex Chrisman was awarded the Harrison County 4-H Video Scholarship as well as the Most Outstanding 4-Her award. Esther and Lamont McCoy were honored for their continuous support of the youth and the fair. To conclude the nights awards, the 2017 Royal Court was crowned. Prince Jacob Rinkes, Princess Kira Birney, King Bailey Eberhart, and Queen Abby Keller.

Pewee Showmanship gave Cloverbud age kids a chance to try their hand at showing rabbits, poultry, goats, and sheep

Close to 35 kids participated in this years contest

The participants did a wonderful job and were given participation ribbons and a free ice cream cone

Supreme Showmanship: Saturday July 8, 2017

Members who won Show of Showman were invited to compete for the honor of Supreme Showmanship. Members competed in showing pygmy goats, hogs, rabbits, chickens, poultry, dairy, and sheep. The 2017 Supreme Showmanship winner was Bailey Eberhart.

Square Dance - Saturday July 8, 2017

The Harrison County Farm Bureau sponsors the Square Dance that is held each year.

Children of all ages, parents, friends from other counties and alumni gather for this event.

The Square Dance is one of the most talked about events during the fair week as everyone comes and joins
