Executive Director of Athletics Amanda V. DeMartino is proud to unveil a new set of secondary logos as part of a brand enhancement package that will build upon the department’s existing assets, strengthen the TCNJ Athletics brand across a wide range of applications, and create a sense of pride for all Lions fans and stakeholders. Developed in partnership with The Barn Creative, the TCNJ Athletics brand has expanded to include four new secondary logos – a front-facing lion, a script “Lions” wordmark, a logo outlined by the state of New Jersey, and lion eyes – which will spur the evolution of the department’s visual identity and celebrate the college’s position as a leading figure in the athletics landscape.
"As we've expanded our campus branding efforts we realized a need for more variety with our logo marks. We have great pride in our lion logo, so it was really important to build around that while adding some more options to our banding guide. We partnered with The Barn Creative to develop a set of secondary logos that are streamlined with our existing brand and we could not be happier with how they turned out. Our process included collecting feedback from coaches, athletics administrators and the Office of Communications, Marketing & Brand Management to ensure that our logo expansion aligned with our brand guidelines and who we are. We are very proud of the final product and excited to start introducing our secondary and tertiary logos as we highlight and promote our TCNJ Athletics brand." -Amanda V.
