The Amur Leopard lives more in the savanas of Africa. The Amur leopard live in the northern part of the species range. The Amur Leopard is also found in the Southwest area along the Russian border. The Amur leopard lives in different places such as the African savanas where it is hot and sunny. It also lives in China and Russia where it is cold and sunny in the winter time.
The Amur Leopard mostly eats musk deer roe deer and Sitka deer.The Amur Leopard also eats small wild boars along with hares badgers and raccoon dogs. To get their food they break the neck of their prey and they hide the carcass. The Amur leopard normally hunts at night and need larger territories to avoid competition for prey.Amur Leopard silently watches their prey and ambush them using energy reaching speed up to 35 miles per hour. The things that hunt Amur Leopard are eaten by Lions. Amur Leopard try to fight back but it doesn't work out so well.

It is only 60 individuals of the Amur leopard left. This makes the Amur leopard the the most endangered big cat. For that reason it is listed critically endangered. A female Amur Leopard was recently shot and beaten. The conservation announced that further lowering in the wild number for the worlds rarest big cat. The Amur Leopard can be saved from extinction. Since 2007 the Amur Leopard population has doubled from 7 to 12 in China and 20 to 25 in Russia.
