Why is 80% charge my recommended daily target? (scroll for the rest of the story!)

If the flow of electricity is like the flow of water, then I guess you can think of me (your battery) like a cup. Cups hold water. Batteries hold electrical charge.

Q: If you’re not interested in spilling, how high do normally fill a cup?

A: I think you know where this is going

Now, if YOU spill some water, it’s not the end of the world, but if you overcharge ME (your battery), it’s REALLY not good.

Q: When a waiter is filling your cup, when do you “say when”?

A: Yep, you guessed it

around 80%!

This should help you understand why we quote our DC Fast Charger times up to the 80% level. (It wouldn’t be wise to rapidly charge all the way to 100% now, would it?)
