Social Growth
Through my work with Colorado State Athletics, I was promoted to become the Colorado State Softball Social Media Assistant! I have worked with the CSU Softball team since December 2018. Since then, the team's social channels have seen:
- Total Audience Increase: 20.35%
- Instagram Audience Increase: 226.58%
- Twitter Audience Increase: 42.54%
- Facebook Audience Increase: 19.86%
#25Strong
CSU Softball's 2019 season was the 25th Season since the team's reinstatement. #25Strong became the rallying cry for the 2019 team as it represented the team's history and an idea bigger than each individual.
Mountain West Champions
The 2019 Season was historic for Colorado State Softball. Coming off a 20-game winning streak, highest win percentage in school history (.791), and their third NCAA Tournament berth since 1976 - the importance of social media coverage was exemplified.
We geared our social strategy to tell the story of this team through powerful imagery. Highlighting individual and team achievements was a must in order to fully capture the dynamic on and off the field.
NCAA Social Takeovers
NCAA Softball social-media takeovers are a great opportunity to expose a larger audience to a team and culture. CSU Softball was given the opportunity twice and we made sure to capitalize on larger audience.
Instagram stories are a huge part of NCAA live-coverage as it allows fans to connect with different teams. Below is an example of an Instagram story I curated (photo & video) from the 2020 Colorado Classic in which parts were also used by the NCAA:
