Mars by ava paulson and Chloe Rogers

A European-Russian mission going to Mars blasted off successfully from Kasakhstan, a country in Asia, on March 14, 2016, for a 7 month journey.

The ExoMars mission was blasted off by a Russian rocket. Three days before arrival, the rocket is supposed to break off of the orbiter, the machine being used to circle the planet. The orbiter is designed to orbit thr planet Mars in the year 2022. The United States originally agreed to launch the rocket, but Barack Obama said they wouldn't do it because he wanted to save to $2 billion to use for future space missions. Luckily, Russia found Europe to help them. So now the U.S and Europe and Russia are working on Mars projects, but The U.S one might not take off until later than 2025.
