SILVER LININGS DAY PARADE
Gov. Doug Burgum and the North Dakota Long Term Care Association designated Tuesday, June 23, as Silver Linings Day in our state. This day was set aside to recognize our long term care community for going above and beyond during these challenging times.
The community of Lisbon came together and provided the LTC facilities with a wonderful parade on a picturesque day. Thank you to all who participated!
Red, white and blue was our theme. The day was truly about showing appreciation for all the staff do in each of our local facilities: Parkside Lutheran Home, The North Dakota Veterans Home and The Beverly Anne Assisted Living. There are many staff in each of these places going above and beyond every day to make a difference in the lives of those that live there. The Staff deserve this day and more to acknowledge the amazing job they do. They should all be so proud!

GOWNS MADE IN LOVE
Roger has connections and we are glad he shared them with us. Roger is pictured to the right with Kelly Lyons, RN, CCP. Ruth Fletcher of Webster and Teri Thompson of Devils Lake are friends of Rogers and have been kind over the years in donating patriotic quilts for our residents. As discussion took place on what types of gowns our team would need, Roger offered his friend's sewing expertise. The fabric that was chosen was not an easy one to work with yet Ruth and Teri diligently fulfilled our order. Thank you so much!
