STA is a Uniform School
Uniform expectations for students:
- In full uniform every day, all day.
- Uniform pieces include golf, Vest, ¼ and full zip sweater, rugby shirts with school crest/logo * Khaki or navy pants – shorts and capris – with school crest
- Uniform pieces ordered through DGN Kilters www.dgn-kilters.com/ * Store open in the school (room 211A) on Mondays from 10am – 4pm (returning soon)

What courses will students take at STA in Grade 9?
- 7 common-core courses: English, Math, Science, Religion, Geography, French,
- One of the following PhysEd courses... i) Phys-Ed; Male or Female ii) Personal Fitness (co-ed) iii) Small Group Activities (co-ed)
- 1 of the following elective courses: Art, Drama, Music, Business, Hairstyling, or Communications Technology.
A benefit to coming to St. Thomas Aquinas, when it comes to sports, is it's a small school... when you want to try out for a team... you are trying out against fewer athletes. Junior Boys soccer, for example, had about 25 players tryout for a player roster. A larger school is going to see 45-50 players tryout. We do, however, have just about as many teams as larger schools, and as you can see in our Gymnasium, a LOT of championship banners. #stingerschamps

To register at St. Thomas Aquinas: Click here for the "New Student Zone" webpage on our school website for all registration information and forms. Early Registration is due January 31, 2024 (still open for rolling registration through year).
A $30 student activity fee will be requested through the “School Day” communication and payment system before the start of the next school year.
"Grade 9 Welcome Day" will be held at the end of August; information will be posted.
