Hello, everyone! Another month has gone by, and it is hard to believe it is March already.
Let's start with the good news. As some of you know, we started this newsletter this year as a way of making sure that In Company teachers knew what was going on at CIDUP. This was done considering the fact that they are hardly ever at CIDUP and only get to see other colleagues whenever there is a meeting or an event. Not the ideal setting, if you asked me. Having that in mind, the other areas also felt it was necessary to make sure teachers knew everything there is to know about our Language Center, our workplace. As a result, this newsletter has stopped being the "InCompany Newsletter" and is now the "CIDUP Newsletter."
For those of you who are joining us for the very first time, this monthly newsletter has the objective of letting you know how things are going and reinforcing a sense of unity within our Language Center. Please, feel free to send in any feedback or suggestions to my email: jl.diaza@up.edu.pe
I hope you all find this interesting and a fun way of keeping yourself informed.
Have a great month!
José Luis Díaz A. - Academic Coordinator (In Company)

1) Public Speaking Skills for CIDUP teachers:
As part of CIDUP's plan to foster professional development, a workshop on Public Speaking was offered to CIDUP teachers and was very well received. It started on February 20th and will go on until March 20th.
2) CIDUP General Registration
CIDUP's general registration will take place on March 2nd and 3rd. As it is customary, placement exams and interviews will be held on both our branches (San Isidro and Miraflores). If you are interested in helping us during this process by becoming part of our support staff for exams and interviews, make sure you let us know.

Another part of CIDUP's plan to foster professional development is the administration of international exams for CIDUP teachers.
The demand for high linguistic skills has grown steadily throughout the years and these skills have become a necessity for the modern teacher. Obtaining a Cambridge English certification will not only demonstrate your skills, but also help you get noticed and get ahead. Once you have obtained your certificate, your CV will have on it one of the most prestigious qualifications around the world and become a great sign of your own professional development.
Do not let this opportunity pass you by and start preparing today!

For this edition of "Meet our team", we are starting with the On-Campus - Asesorías area. This area is lead by Mrs. Carmen Hurtado, Academic Coordinator.
So, what is this area about? I will let her explain it:
Meet the team!
This area also organized in February the yearly "Updating Teaching Skills" event which was attended by teachers for differents schools from all over the country and seeked to provide them with tools and ideas to be implemented in their classes.
In this section, the idea is to let you know what companies we are working with and what companies have joined us as partners. This month we welcome two companies whom we believe are going to be completely satisfied with the quality of our teachers!
We welcome these partners and look forward to working with them!
