Setting the Scene: Pacific Lutheran University is back at home after four games on the road, welcoming George Fox University to Olson Gymnasium.

Series History: The Lutes and Bruins have met 51 times with PLU enjoying a 30-21 edge in the all-time series. The Lutes have won three in a row, sweeping the series in 2019-20 with 87-76 and 71-65 victories.

About the Lutes: PLU (10-6, 5-2 NWC) returns home after splitting its last four games on the road. The Lutes rallied past Whitman 78-72 on Jan. 14 in Walla Walla, Washington but ended on the wrong side of a 97-69 scoreline the following night at nationally-ranked Whitworth.

The Lutes held off crosstown rival Puget Sound 72-68 last Tuesday before surrendering a 19-point lead in an 87-84 setback to Linfield on Saturday. Seth Hall headlined the week for the Lutes, averaging 27.5 points per game between the two contests.

Hall leads the NWC in scoring, dropping 22.1 points per game while Sean McCurdy adds 12.1 ppg and a team-high 7.1 rebounds per game. Jordan Thomas adds 9.1 ppg and 6.7 rpg with a team-best 70 assists on the season.

About the Bruins: George Fox (9-7, 4-3 NWC) heads into tonight's midweek tilt having dropped two of its last three games. The Bruins came up short 76-71 against Linfeild on Jan. 15 before powering past Whitman 66-58 on Friday. GFU nearly pulled off the upset on Saturday at nationally-ranked Whitworth but ultimately fell 80-78 at home.

Zac Schreiber is one of three Bruins averaging in double figures, dropping 13.9 points per game while Momo Stokes and Davon Walker add 11.3 and 10.5 ppg, respectively. Kalu Stricken is the team's top rebounder, grabbing 5.3 rebounds per game.

Home Cooking: The Lutes have turned Olson Gymnasium into a tough place for opposing teams to play. Pacific Lutheran has won 11 of its last 12 home games, including all four home dates during the 2021-2022 season.
