Management Team

Jas Colliver

Colliver was appointed as manager on Christmas Eve 2021. His most recent role was at Grantham Town working with Carlton Palmer, he also has extensive managerial experience at Staveley Miners Welfare, Sheffield and Handsworth.

Mark Ward

Ward was appointed alongside Colliver, the former England Youth International let Buxton on a 20 game unbeaten start to the 2021/22 season and prior to that has been involved at AFC Mansfield and Hednesford Town amongst others.

Graduated from Leeds Beckett University with BSc Hons in Sport and Exercise Therapy. Katie is also qualified in Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football and First Aid at Work. Her past experiences include two seasons with Hemsworth MWFC and a season with the County FA representatives u18s team. Katie has also had placements with Sheffield United and other sports teams during her time at University.

Emily Crispin – Sports Therapist

Emily graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a BSc Honours in Sport and Exercise Therapy. She qualified in first aid at work and trauma management within sport.

Mat Zaniewski – Goalkeeper

Zaniewski joined the club during 2021 from Goole where he was impressing with his performances, and excellent shot stopped and a commanding presence in the penalty area. Zaniewski has played an important role since taking the number 1 shirt.

Jake Teale - Goalkeeper

Young goalkeeper, formerly of York City. Impressed in pre-season, including saving two penalties. He will surely keep Max Dearnley on his toes as he fights for a starting place.

Prince Attakorah - Player

Attakorah was part of the academy at Rotherham and Chesterfield and on the books at Harrogate playing for their u23s. He made an appearance for our u23s last year and also played for Carlton Athletic

Eddie Cass – Defender

Strong in the tackle and in the air and a real leader. Cass will add some steel at the heart of defence. Cass had a spell in America where he played for Rocky Mountain Collage winning the defender of the year award and was a key player for Hemsworth Miners Welfare before moving to Ingfield

Cameron Clark – Defender

Signed from Belper Town where he was highly though of by their manager, he is a pacey full back who defends well and will also get forward to support the attack, equally adept at the centre of defence where he was used last season.

Jack Cowgill – Defender

A former academy graduate at Barnsley, Cowgill made his EFL debut in 2014 for them against Walsall. He then had loan spells at Braintree and Fylde before signing for Boston United. Cowgill had a spell out of the game before signing for Nostell Miners Welfare where he re-discovered his love for the game.

A very talented defender with a big future ahead and a key player in Wayne Benn’s plans. Jack was named club captain for the 2021/22 season.

Harry Gagen – Defender

Full back Harry Gagen signed for Ossett United last season after a loan spell in 19/20 that was cut short as the season was null and voided.

Gagen looked to make the right back spot his own before 20/21 was curtailed.

Ross Hardaker – Defender

Ossett based Hardaker is very popular with players and supporters alike, he played for both Albion and Town and bleeds Ossett – which you may see as he always puts his body on the line for his club. The cultured full back is a key member of the squad.

Ross Killock – Defender

Killock started his career at Leeds United and spent time on loan at Chester and Halifax Town. He has played for Stalybridge Celtic, Scarborough Athletic and joins us from AFC Mansfield. Killock will add quality to the Ossett United back line.

Dec McGivern - Defender

Signed in the summer of 2021, Dec is a tall strong central defender who counts Runcorn Linnets and Runcorn Town amongst his former clubs.

Marcel Chipamaunga – Midfielder

Marcel started at Rossington Main before moving to Boston Utd and spending time in their under 21’s. He has also spent time at Spalding United and a spell at Boston Town, prior to joining us. Marcel duel registered with Athersley Recreation las season to get much needed game time after a disrupted start to the season.

Marcel rejoined the Ossett United squad this preseason and will be hoping to be a part of the first team squad this year.

George Green - Midfielder

George Green brings professional experience to the Ossett United squad having been on the books of Bradford City, Everton, Oldham as well as Kilmarnock in Scotland and Norwegian side Viking. As well as International recognition playing for England u16, 17 and 18 sides.

The creative midfielder adds creativity and guile to the squad, George has been working hard over the summer and has returned towards the end of pre-season. George has the ability to affect a game every time he takes the field.

Luke Hogg – Midfielder

A hard working and tenacious midfielder of considerable potential. Luke started his career in the very successful Guiseley Academy where he spent loan spells with Grantham and North Ferriby in the NPL. Other former clubs include Frickley and Hemsworth MWFC.

Mitch Levi-Lewis - Midfield

Talented forward player, excellent on the ball with a great pass and shot as well as tremendous vision, Levi-Lewis will be looking to establish himself in the side this season.

Nathan Valentine - Midfielder

Combative midfielder, Valentine is a leader on the field with great experience having won the NPL 1st division with Scarborouth Athletic. Vallo joined the club from Premier Division side Radcliffe FC

Archie Whitfield - Midfielder

Summer loan signing from York City. Archie has settled straight into the squad. Highly rated by his parent club, Archie is well on the way to making a career from the game.

Ify Ofoegbu – Forward

Exciting forward, Ify joined Ossett United from Grantham Town, he has also had a spell at Worksop Town.

Ify will add pace and skill to the forward available to Colliver and Ward

Josh Haigh - Forward

A member of the successful u18 side, Josh has broken into the first team this season with some positive performances. The left sided player will be looking to continue to gain experience and has a very bright future.

Aaron Haswell – Forward

Another young talent who impressed in the Ossett United shirt. Comfortable with either foot can and can play anywhere across the front line. Haswell will have a big role to play this season.

Reon Potts - Forward

Reon joined the club in 2021 on loan from National League North side York City. reon adds quality to the Ossett United front line with an excellent eye for goal

Seon Ripley – Forward

Not many in Non-League can say they have been on the pitch for an FA Cup final but Seon can, his winning penalty for Ossett Town v 1874 Northwich saw him selected to have his name on the 2018 FA Cup final ball along with 136 others. Ripley is a tireless forward who never stops working for the team creating numerous chances for team mates as well as knowing where the back of the net is himself.

Tabish Hussain – Forward

Hussain is a player Wayne Benn has had his eye on for twelve months after two impressive performances against us last pre-season for both Bradford Park Avenue and Eccleshill where he spent last season.

James Walshaw – Forward

Wally has returned to Ingfield, where he started his career at Ossett Town. The forward has had an illustrious semi-professional career playing for the likes of Guiseley, Harrogate Town, Halifax Town, Altrincham, Scarborough Athletic and most recently Buxton in the curtailed 20/21 season. The confident forward knows where the goal is and will be looking to add to his already impressive career total.

Carl Clarkson - Forward

Free scoring in the Ossett United BTEC side, Carl already had a goal in the NPL.

He will be looking to establish himself in the first team squad this season.
