The Junior Section and Middle Section English Team Leaders at HPS Session attended a workshop on REALIA, conducted by Ms. Rabab Naqvi, the English Subject Leader of class V. The session focussed on teaching English to students in a fun, engaging and life-relevant way. She gave a background review of REALIA, a technique that uses authentic objects in the classroom. Her focus was on kinaesthetic learners who love to learn through hand-on activities. The purpose of the session was to augment the level of creativity, critical thinking and the ability of adapting the content effectively. REALIA for ESL can make learning experience more memorable and create connections in between objects and vocabulary words and other objects.

The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it ." Robert Sawn Earth Day is an annual global event, observed on April 22, that celebrates the environmental movement and raises awareness about pollution and ways to maintain a clean habitat. This year marks the 51st anniversary of Earth Day. Earth Day seeks to unite people from all parts of the world in environmental causes and to make them trustees in the elimination of issues such as pollution, loss of biodiversity, deforestation, water contamination and global warming. The need for an Earth Day is more serious than ever due to climate change. Weather patterns are being disrupted across the world leaving people, flora and fauna and land to become more vulnerable to natural disasters . We as the team of Habib Public School together with the Senior Leadership, faculty, students and parents take an unflinching pledge to make the Earth greener and cleaner
