Mark Your Calendars — Mega Reunion June 10-12, 2022

This is a call for Martlets far and wide to wend their way back to Williams Hill and join their classmates in a celebration for the ages! Reconnect with faculty and friends! Participate in alumni games! Take a class! Play some golf! Tell stories, remember old friends, and laugh — long and hard — with one another. It has been far too long since we have been able to celebrate the common bond that makes us all Martlets.

Reunion 2022 invites classes of 2017 through 1942 and all classes in between ending in 0, 1, 2, 5, 6, or 7 to rest their weary wings and find respite and rejuvenation this June 10-12 on the Hill where it all began. Click the button below to register.

Celebrating the Class of 2020

We look forward to welcoming members of the Class of 2020, along with their parents and families, back to Williams Hill for a special celebration on Saturday, June 4. We want this event to reflect the wishes of the members of the Class of 2020, so we are forming a planning committee. Members of the Class of 2020, if you have not done so yet, please fill out the form to let us know if you plan to attend, the number of guests from your family who might attend, and if you would like to be part of the planning group. We look forward to seeing you back on the Hill in June!

Westminster Awarded E.E. Ford Grant on Behalf of Horizons at Westminster!

Horizons at Westminster is happy to share the exciting news that Westminster School was awarded an E.E. Ford Traditional Grant of $100,000. This grant will provide critical support for salaries and volunteer stipends in Horizons at Westminster’s Summer 2022 program. Generous donors have already come forward with three matching gifts. This important grant and the momentum it has gathered have the potential to truly catalyze the program’s continuing growth and ensure its long-term sustainability. Horizons at Westminster is at a crucial juncture and acutely aware of the significant funding needed to fulfill its promise of expanding educational opportunities for students from under-resourced communities in Hartford and to deliver on Westminster's commitment to “service beyond self.”

The Westminster Fund

Every gift to The Westminster Fund affirms a collective commitment to supporting Westminster's mission to teach students to live with intelligence and character, and to commit to a life of service beyond self. Gifts to The Westminster Fund support students and faculty, and provide vital resources for learning opportunities in the classroom, on the fields, in the dining hall and make possible the transformational opportunity of a Westminster education.

A Successful Martlet Giving Day

Thank you to all the Martlet faithful who responded to our seventh annual Martlet Giving Day on Nov. 30, National Giving Tuesday. Over 420 alumni, current and past parents, and friends chose to support Westminster, allowing the school to surpass its goal and provide critical resources to students and faculty. If you have not already participated this calendar year, please consider making a gift to The Westminster Fund before Dec. 31.

The Class of 2022 Campus Life Fund

To honor the Westminster Sixth Formers who lived and led with Grit & Grace during the difficult time of the pandemic and in gratitude for their parents who made possible on-campus gatherings and celebrations, the focus of this year’s Sixth Form Gift is The Class of 2022 Campus Life Fund. The fund will support a wide range of recreational and social activities and outdoor campus gatherings for Martlets during the school year, balancing students’ rigorous academic life and cocurricular requirements with fun, enhancing the social and emotional well-being of students and celebrating Westminster’s core values for current and future Martlets. Please honor your 2022 student by making a gift to The Campus Life Fund.
