Grand Central Market is definitely a once in a lifetime experience. It is a journey for the senses, with all its tastes, sights and sounds. The market has a wide range of cuisines, ranging from El Salvadorean to Korean. Additionally, there's a ton of local vendors that sell homemade products and fresh produce. There's a lot to taste, and I recommend going there on an empty stomach! I believe the best time to go is the night because the neon-signs truly pop then.

These museums are some of the most comprehensive and carefully curated in the nation. The exhibits were detailed and informative, whilst still keeping them interactive and interesting. There was a wide range of stuff to see, for people of all interests and ages. We saw dinosaur exhibits, a gems and rocks exhibit, some really cool satellites and even a wonderful insect exhibit with live insects! I have tried to capture the essence of the experience, along with the diversity of it.

Final Project: Photo-essay

A modern art gallery...

For this essay, I thought of so many different ideas. None of them seemed to work until I sat down and started going through my photo gallery on my phone. Suddenly, I was inspired. The very thing that makes photography special is its ability to capture art in mundane moments. I decided to find art in all the mundane aspects of my life, and here is what I came up with. For that purpose, most of these pictures were shot on my iPhone 11 camera, and may not be the best quality. However, I ask that you let yourself indulge in the art of the world around.

This essay is a summation of a very wonderful day spent in LA. It is a journey through eyes that see art in every corner. I have attached multiple images in multiple forms, including selfies. I am a strong believer in the art of a selfie, and how composition comes naturally to us when we view ourselves as subjects in a frame. I wanted to photograph moments in different, often contrasting, lights. Along with some mostly untouched pictures of sunsets, we get pictures in artificial lighting. It entirely changes the way the subject looks. I had fun photographing a day in my life, especially one so creatively fueled. I hope to tell the story of art in our surroundings, symmetries in our every day moments, and so much more. I hope this essay does that.
