ITA National Player of the Year
Peyton Stearns from the University of Texas has been named the 2022 ITA National Player of the Year.
The sophomore from Mason, Ohio played at the Longhorns No. 1 position the entirety of the 2022 Spring Season, compiling a 20-1 record over the season.
An ITA Singles All-American in 2021, Stearns has only lost five dual matches over her first two seasons and continues to elevate her game year-after-year.
In 2022, Stearns reached new heights once again leading Texas to their second straight NCAA Team National Title while also laying claim to the NCAA Singles National Championship just a few weeks later.
