The juniors were very eager in the first round to get closer to defeating the teachers. Sadly they were knocked out in the 2nd round.
The sophomores were the only thing stopping the seniors from getting to play the teachers. Their goal while playing was just to have fun, and said “if they won, they won” they didn’t care what happened.
Teachers couldn’t wait to join in on the fun that their students were having. Mrs. Driml-Powers was so excited at the fact that she was able to get someone out. While Mrs. Albertson was dodging for her life.
The sophomore team seemed to having a great advantage of numbers against the teachers. Leaving the girls to be screaming in excitement anytime the balls were thrown
Ms. Kowal couldn’t wait to aim for her students in a game of dodgeball. This seemed to take her back to when she played softball for Mercy Highschool.
The sophomores were finally able to score a win at a mercy event, causing major cheering & excitement in the stands.
Even after the teachers had lost that intense dodgeball that still had good sportsmanship. Chalking up this event to be a good teaching moment.
Sophomores ended up coming on top and winning the dodgeball tournament. They said to be ready for next year but I think this was just a lucky shot.
