After a tremendously successful 2021 campaign that included a team bid to the NCAA Championships, as well as an All-America individual performance at the national meet, William & Mary Director of Gymnastics Mike Powell is eager to build upon those accomplishments during the upcoming season.
Leading the Tribe in its quest to earn a return trip to the NCAA Championships will be a trio of captains in senior Christian Marsh, junior Connor Bowman and junior Aidan Cuy. All three standouts have distinguished themselves as exceptional leaders both in and out of the gym.
W&M will open its season at the West Point Open on Jan. 14-15. In addition to hosting the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship in early April, the Tribe’s exciting slate will also feature a pair of home meets at Kaplan Arena – Springfield (Feb. 25) and Navy (March 12).
