Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability – Goal Setting

NLPS is creating an Environmental Stewardship Action Plan. The following consultation is open for our district staff. Deadline to participate is Tuesday, April 26 at 4 p.m.

Business Committee Meeting

At the Business Committee Meeting Wednesday, April 13, 2022, the committee adopted the Capital Plan Bylaw; received updates about the 2022-2023 budget; and received feedback about the North end capacity engagement.

TRC57 Speaker Series

Join Aaron Glass and Andy Everson for a conversation about the Hamat'sa, long known as the Cannibal Dance. They will trace the attempted prohibition, intercultural mediation and ultimate survival of one of Canada's most iconic Indigenous ceremonies.

Sailpast 2022

The Ladysmith Yacht Club invites you to Transfer Beach Park on Saturday, May 7 at 1pm for Sailpast 2022. The event celebrates the long history of boating in BC and hopes to raise awareness of a labour shortage of skilled marine trades. Some of these high paid jobs are often ignored and bypassed as a job path option.
