Bridgwater College Academy - Junior School Window Replacement Bridgwater, somerset
BCA appointed FfS (Somerset LEP) to complete a feasibility stage control option based on condition survey information, ACMF scope and school priorities as a result of their Asset Management Plan and strategic master plan. Condition survey information (completed by J P Gainsford Associates) was then used to complete an options appraisal and subsequently to develop a control option for high priority works in order to inform project affordability and demonstrate deliverability.
The outcome of this project was replacement, repair and maintenance of glazing associated with c. 850 m2 of floor area of the school, providing a modern, easy to maintain and lower running cost glazing solution that addressed H&S issues, improves quality of learning environments and the outward image of the Academy facilities.
