SB vs. Saint Rose - SENIOR DAY April 24, 2022

Today we celebrate our seniors! In top photo (left to right): #5 Leigh Brandenburg and #9 Courtney Norton

#5 Leigh Brandenburg

Duxbury, Massachusetts

After starting 35 games as a right-handed hitter her freshman year, Leigh put her speed to work as a slapper the last two seasons, stealing 12 bases and lending a veteran presence to the Purple Knight outfield. She is approaching a career high in runs this season, and walked and scored twice against Slippery Rock in March. A two-time NE10 Academic Honor Roll qualifier, Leigh majors in environmental science.

#9 Courtney Norton

Georgetown, Massachusetts

Courtney approaches career highs in runs and on-base percentage as an integral defender in left field. She walked and scored at Stonehill earlier this year, and picked up a hit and walk during a one-run victory over Bentley last season. A seven-time NE10 Academic Honor Roll qualifier, Courtney earned a D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award in 2021. She majors in psychology and criminology.

#2 Meghan Burnett

Wakefield, Massachusetts

A graduate of Wakefield Memorial High School, Meghan planned to join the Saint Michael's softball family but tragically passed away shortly after graduating in 2018. We honor her memory every day. You can learn more about the foundation her family started in her name below:
