Our two Sports Arenas offer fantastic capacity, flexibility and quality for both participants and spectators alike. Arena 1 has a semi-sprung ‘Helsinki 10’ dynamic floor system that provides the following:

• 1 Basketball show court

• 2 Basketball match courts
• 2 Volleyball match courts
• 4 Volleyball practice courts
• 2 Netball match courts
• 1 Futsal show court
• Bleacher Seating (approximately 400 capacity)
• Extra portable seating also available (approximately 400 capacity)

Arena 2

2 is the exact same size as Arena 1- 40 x 37m in size, and benefits from the following:

Aqua East – Strength & Conditioning Centre

Aqua East is a private Strength and Conditioning Centre equipped with high quality equipment. It’s an ideal facility for athletes and teams to practice in their high performance environment without disruption and interruption.

Multi-use Studio

The Studio has an integrated sound system, sprung wooden floor and wall mirrors.

With a capacity of up to 60 people, this flexible space is ideal for dance, fitness events, martial arts, workshops and more.

MUGA

Our 7-a-side 3G pitch is perfect for a kick-about with friends, weekly block bookings for your team or competing in a league or tournament with your work colleagues. Alternatively our 3G pitch is well suited for hockey training or mini-tournaments.

The outdoor pitch is fully enclosed and floodlit. The surface is a state-of-the-art 3G synthetic grass filled with a rubber crumb. Entry to the pitches is through the main SportsDock entrance.

Conference & Events Rooms

Our flexible conference and event rooms at SportsDock gives you the freedom to create exactly the event you want. Whether it’s a small official’s room for an event, a lecture theatre style workshop for 50 people in our Harvard rooms or even a cabaret layout for up to 80 people, we can cater for all your needs.

These rooms are also ideal for coaching and teaching as well as workshops.

Hospitality & Accommodation

SportsDock offers a wide range of hospitality packages and menu’s to cater for your event no matter how big or small. Whether it is teas and coffees or hot meals and platters, we offer a variety of different menus to cater to your needs and wants. Our cafe on-site is open Monday to Sunday serving hot and cold food and drinks.

• 1200 modern en-suite university rooms on campus a short walk from SportsDock (available end of June-end of August)
• Numerous hotels in around the Docklands and East London area (list available on request).
