Mattie shared a craft with Ms. Staes that she made at home.
Thanks, Ms. Ruf, for the beautiful Heart and Soul pictures!
Ms. Rice took some great pics, too!
The Tiger class (kindergarten) visited the Gecko class (first grade) to see their animal research books and their theater Arts Integration project- habitat puppet stages and animal puppets. The Geckos enjoyed sharing their research, and The Tigers loved learning more about animals and getting a peek at what they will learn next year!
The 4th grade Junior Girl Scout troop volunteered at the Louisiana SPCA during Heart and Soul week. The girls created toys for the cats and dogs. They also learned how to care for the animals in our community. The girls learned how community service, such as volunteering at an animal shelter, is an important way to celebrate Dr. King's life.
