Background
In partnership, WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA and PMNCH are launching the 2022 Progress Report on the Every Woman Every Child Global Strategy for Women’s, Children’s and Adolescents’ Health (2016-2030). - Link to the digital report: protect.everywomaneverychild.org

A child’s chance of a healthy life is largely determined by where they are born and the economic circumstances they are born into.
This can change. This must change.
#ProtectThePromise #PartnersForChange
#COVID19 #ClimateCrisis #Conflict have magnified persistent inequities in access to health and social services, further jeopardizing the health of women, children, and adolescents.
#ProtectThePromise #PartnersForChange
“At the core of our unkept promise is the failure to address the gaping inequities at the root of global crises, from the COVID-19 pandemic to conflicts and the climate emergency."
#ProtectThePromise
Hunger, child marriage, adolescent depression & anxiety, and risks from intimate partner violence have all increased ⬆️. At the same time, lifesaving services such as immunization have declined⬇️.
These are the wrong directions.
#ProtectThePromise #PartnersForChange
