ITA Rookie of the Year Award
Eleni Lazaridou from Kenyon College has been named the 2023 ITA Rookie of the Year.
As a first year player, Lazaridou has stepped up big for the Kenyon program, playing at the No. 1 singles position for the entirety of the season.
Finishing with a 25-4 overall record in singles play, she would only lose one match over the entire spring season and several ranked wins throughout the spring and fall.
At her first NCAA Singles Championship, Lazaridou reached the Semifinals of the tournament, and was seeded as the No. 4 overall seed in the entire event.
She finished the season ranked No. 5 in the ITA Singles Rankings and is poised to lead the Kenyon team for years to come.
