A Busy Week in School!
It has been another busy week in school and I am pleased to report that years three, four and five are back learning in our normal classrooms! Pupils were extremely resilient during the period of disruption and we would like to thank you for your support and understanding.
You may be aware that Mr. Thomas has been asked, by the local authority, to work as the interim headteacher of Fenton Community School. This is a short term arrangement and will not impact our work at Johnston.
Parent Meetings
We are planning on holding our first parents evening on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th October. These meetings will provide parents with a chance to find out how their child is making progress at school and how they have settled in after the summer break. All meetings will be held in the school hall. Parents will be able to enter through the main school entrance. Pupils will take home an appointment slip by the end of next week.
Crossing Information
There will be no crossing provision on 11/10/22.
