Fall 2021 Events
As we continue working through the pandemic, The Transfer Center remains offering services virtually and in-person. Highlighted below are some exciting events that took place FALL 2021!
5th Annual Transfer Fair
The Transfer Center Celebrated the 5th Annual Transfer Fair virtually for the second year in a row through the Discord platform. There was a total of 37 University Booths from the CSUs, UCs, in-state and out-of-state private schools. The day consisted of live virtual booths to allow for Q&A's. A variety of workshops were offered and raffles took place throughout the event.

University Transfer Application Workshops
Transfer applications were in full swing Fall 2021 semester for the CSUs and UCs. The California State University applications had Spring 2022 (August 1st-31st) and Fall 2022 (October 1st-December 15th) applications open.
The University of California had their UC Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) application (September 1st-30th) and university application for Fall 2022 (November 1st-30th).

Spring 2022 Events
The Transfer Center is excited to continue offering services in-person and online! Those students who applied to transfer for FALL 2022 will begin getting acceptance letters from the California State Universities (CSU) already. The Universities of California (UC) will begin sending out letters of acceptance beginning in April. As a requirement transfer students need to send Official Transcripts electronically to all universities. Please find the link below to share.
Porterville College Transfer Alumni Highlights!
In honor of February and Valentines Day! We have former PC Students Alexis Pena and Britniey Moreno who met at Porterville College while taking MathP051 together. They kicked it off and have been dating since 2017, Alexis jokes "I definitely failed that class, but I got a girlfriend!" Alexis is a former EOPS student and is in the hiring process for CHP, California Highway Patrol. Britniey is a Corcoran native and commuted to PC daily. She is now pursuing her Teaching Credentials. Alexis and Britniey were always very active at the Transfer Center attending Cal State Apply workshops, and staying on track for graduation and transfer.
They graduated Class of 2018 at Porterville College with an Administration of Justice degree and then transferred to Fresno State and graduated Class of 2020. The PC Transfer Team is so proud of Alexis and Britniey and we look forward to continue seeing their accomplishments!
