Torch song is a funded kinetic fire art sculpture for Burningman 2017. The sculpture contained nine sections to created a double tetrahedron that stood about 18 feet tall. Each section contained a chain driven fire head that would transition along the given sections track and spew flames according to a programmed pattern. The patterns could be changed by placing the icosahedron on a different side. Inside the icosahedron there was a raspberry pi that communicated via local WiFi to our sculpture controller.
