Holiday Baking The best treats to share during the most wonderful time of the year

Gingerbread has long been associated with December and Christmas. It takes a bit of time to make, but it's 100% worth it in the end. My favorite recipe is a simple one from Food Network. Next time you're in the mood for a delicious holiday treat - and have a bit of time - then give this recipe a try.

Pecan Pie: The New York Times has a top-rated pie recipe that is a MUST try at your next holiday dinner.

You can check out that recipe on their website. There's only 10 ingredients and it only takes about an hour to make. Super easy! The recipe calls for using a pre-made pie crust, but you can always go the whole-nine-yards and make your own...

Don't forget to leave the milk and cookies out for Santa! I always love making a simple but tasty chocolate chip cookie... I've found those are Santa's favorites too!
