Amy Travis (b.1999) is a printmaker from St. Louis, MO. Displaying infatuation with the human experience, and often placing focus on relationships with the surrounding world. As well as consumerism and its impact. Her artwork explores human relationships, whether intimate, financial, or with inanimate objects. Posing questions how these relationships morph perceptions, and environments over time.

works range from large paintings, to medium scaled prints featuring intricate detail. Utilizing traditional materials such as inks, graphite, and painting, works create an understanding, and unspoken language displayed by figures, colors and surrounding environments. Influenced by opposing movements such as german expressionism, and impressionism. Embracing a blend of exaggerated, and traditional mark making and gestures. vibrant colors within the artwork in contrast with a soft figure to elude the viewer into the emotions of what the ambiguous figure may be feeling in its surrounding setting.
