Wilson ITA Coach of the Year
Terry Dermer from Fairmont State University has been named the 2023 Wilson ITA Coach of the Year.
Terry has been around the sport of tennis for over 40 years, Dermer played collegiately at Fairmont and spent time coach at West Virginia before taking over the reigns at his alma mater four years ago.
Behind a huge transformation within the Falcon program, Dermer was the conductor behind a groundbreaking year in 2023 for Fairmont State in which they reached new heights.
The Falcons achieved the highest ranking in program history, won the MEC title for the first time in program history, and reached the NCAA Round of Sixteen in Orlando this year.
