Movie Poster

In this assignment, I was tasked with using at least 3 images to create a movie poster in photoshop. Along with this, I created an original movie concept for my poster. The synopsis is as follows:

In a dystopian world, society and people are modeled to be “perfect”. Those who fail to fit their perfect mold are killed or get thrown in the pit. We follow a young man who is seen as the poster child of perfection, only he is not as perfect as everyone thinks he is. Ultimately, he gets discovered and is thrown into the pits. He survives and finds a ragtag group of misfits who have also been discarded from society. Will they be able to fight the system and disrupt this way of life?

Magazine Cover

This project includes an original image and a photoshop effect. The person on the cover is me and the effect used is double exposure. This is shown with the image in my glasses.

My magazine is based around social issues along with mental health and empowerment. I focused on these topics as they are important to me.

Human Text Wrap

In this assignment, I was to find a person doing an action pose and wrap them in words relating to what they are doing/ how they look.

I used the words: Free, Beauty, Joyful, Elegant, Grace, and Talent.

3 Logo Designs

I designed three logos for three companies I created concepts for.

ODD Technologies - This is an innovative technology company. ODD stands for Original Data and Discovery Technologies. The “ODD” is shaped to point forward, representing forward motion.

Cookie Code - This is a logo of a computer software company with its concept based around cookies. There is a bitten cookie on a computer screen and in the text, the O’s are replaced with zeros.

IMC - This logo is based on an idea of a company that creates technology and facilities in support of marginalized communities. IMC stands for Innovations for Marginalized Communities. The circle branches out to several hexagons each representing a different community. Hexagons tend to be symbols of harmony, balance, and coherence along with being prominent tech symbols.
