Internet Safety

Santa was very kind to many of our students who received new devices over the Christmas. In school we are working hard to promote safe and appropriate internet use through a variety of strategies including the anti-cyber bullying, Webwise, Stay Safe, Be Kind Online etc. As an extension of this work we would like to draw parents' attention to fantastic resources on Webwise including the #TalkListenLearn toolkit.

Safer Internet Day takes place on Tuesday, February 7th. We will be using this as a time to promote safer, better internet use. Teachers will use the opportunity to explore online safety topics such as cyber bullying, privacy, social media, image-sharing, consent, misinformation and more.

STEM Space

Following consultations with staff & student council, we are in the process of updating our computer room to a STEM space which will be fit for purpose. Our desktops have been upgraded and we look forward to having our STEM stations installed in the coming weeks.
