Welcome back to all our lovely pupils and families. We can't wait to see all of you and welcome you to your new classes for the year. We are also excited to welcome many new pupils and families to the school in early years but there will be new faces in every class this autumn.
Wraparound is open as usual from 8am Monday morning and after school until 5.30pm (Friday until 4.30pm). We have not increased prices currently as we know how expensive life is currently. We will try to maintain prices as long as we can depending on demand. Please note that if you are in arrears with payments, settle your balance to continue using the service. If you are experiencing difficulties please call to discuss.
The school day:
Mornings:
Arrive no later that 8.45am in order to begin the first lesson at 8.50am.
The playground is open from 8.30am. Hands up is at 8.40am.
End of the day:
Classes finish at 3.20pm. Please allow 5 minutes for pupils to collect their belongings.
The first day:
Pupils and parents in EYFS arrive via the path from the main road directly to Red Kites classroom between 8.45 and 8.50am.
From Year 1 to year 6, class teachers will wait to greet their class on the playground at 8.40-8.45am to then take to class.
Your child does not need stationary or toys in school. We will provide the tools needed for learning.
Attendance
An updated Attendance Policy and Attendance Appendix has been added to the school website.
Please note that the following changes to our routines:
A parent will need to sign in children arriving after 8.50am, if we don't see you we will drop you a call to check in.
Parents will also need to sign out pupils leaving early at the office.
Parent Meetings
Remember class meetings are at 2.45pm on the first day back (Monday 5th September); We invite parents to join your child's class for information about the term's work, homework, log ins and routines. If you have more than one child, we can repeat the information after school.
Parents of pupils with an individual support plan will recieve to book at meeting w/c 12th September
Parents evening for all- 4th October
SEN Q&A coffee morning- date TBC
W/C 17th October- parents will be invited to a class celebration assembly
The Ingoldsby Academy uniform is:
Cooler days
- Grey trousers, skirt or pinafore dress
- Red polo shirt with logo

Warmer days
- Grey shorts and red polo shirt , Red and white checked summer dress

Sports:
- Plimsolls (training shoes for KS2 or attending sports clubs on the field)

Year 5 and 6: fitted swimming shorts or swimming costume, towel and swimming hat

Outdoor Activities
In Early Years and KS1, wellingtons should be kept in school ready for playing outside.
It is the policy of the school and leisure centre that jewellery must not be worn for PE or Swimming.

Clubs will restart Monday 12th September. We will send out the options next week when they are finalised.
