Demo/Rental stock expectation per dealer - 10 boards min. to best represent the brand
Shortboard Traction - We highly recommend rental boards are fitted with front foot and rear traction, to avoid all the hassle of maintaining a freshly waxed demo fleet.
COST TO DEALERS
We have to operational models
1) Revenue share through rental consignment model with a 15% revenue share to Firewire and 85% share to the retailer (reporting monthly).
2) Wholesale model where retailers buy the boards from Firewire at an agreed discount off wholesale based off the size of the rental fleet (speak to your regional manager for details).
Demo lifespan (Term) - Suggested minimum 6-month term during which boards must be available to demo/rent and advertised in store and on-line. This will ensure that the demo fleet is in great condition and that prior demo boards can be sold at a positive margin.
Marketing – Participating dealers agree to market and advertise the demo |rental fleet through all channels and Firewire will promote demo dealers through bio-landers tied to social media messaging.
Sales/stock – Participating dealers agree to ensure adequate retail inventory, reflecting that of the demo fleet to maximize sales capture through the program.
Additions – Dealers can opt to increase demo range and broaden demo model holding on request. New demo models should be coupled with a like for like stock order
