Archery

Miskolc Archery Club - Archery training is available from the age of 12, both in Miskolc, and in Szikszó, a town nearby Miskolc.
Horse riding
Horse riding - equestrianism - is such an unique activity, eventhough nowadays it is less popular, than many years ago. In the Hungarian culture, horse riding has a meaningful history.
DVTK, Miskolc's sports club of more than 20 types of sports, opened an equestrian division in 2021, with four other sports. They provide the right equipments and support for the riders - and they achieve good rankings all around Europe as well.
Wall-climbing
Wall climbing is a sport that is a man made creation; wall climbing is a miniaturized form of rock climbing, where the participants climb artificial surfaces constructed from wood or other materials and built either indoors or outdoors.
Hungary's second biggest indoor climbing wall can be found in Miskolc. It is 10m high, and has a 400 m2 surface.
Fencing
It is a combat sport, featuring sword fighting. The goal of the fight is to score 15 hits (direct elimination competition) or five hits (preliminary pool game).
In Miskolc, the Diósgyőr Fencing Club makes the sport accessible for everyone. Moreover, they are successful in both participating and winning tournaments, such as the Senior European Championships.
