A Letter From Athletic Director Rob Fournier
Dear Bryan:
Congratulations on being named the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II National Coach of the Year. In a year of great success, underscored by the team's second in the nation national finish and first All Americans in a storied program history, this recognition only further acknowledges the hard work, dedication and commitment that has established Wayne State University's men's tennis among the elite programs in the country.
Impressively, the perfect complement to the ITA National Coach of the Year Award, is that in this same season your team was recognized by the NCAA national outreach initiative (Helper Helper) as the number one team in community service among all D2 men's programs in the country in addition to an impressive team grade point average of 3.60.
Congratulations indeed...and well done!!! It is an honor you have earned...and deserve.
Sincerely, Rob
