Innovation J-Camp Multiplatform storytelling
Innovation J-Camp helps high school student use visuals and writing to tell multi-platform stories.
Innovation J-Camp is a five-day workshop held at the Center for Innovation in Media in partnership with the College of Media and Entertainment at Middle Tennessee State University.

Students will tell stories for mobile, social, digital and video audiences.
Mobile technology is a big part of Innovation J-Camp. Every J-Camper has access to an iPad Mini, loaded with photography, video and design apps.
Photojournalism is a critical skill for all storytellers. J-Campers spend an entire day learning hands-on techniques for taking great photos on iPads and Canon DSLR cameras.

Fun fact: iPad Minis shoot 1080p HD video and are one of the most popular tools for journalists on the go.
The iOGrapher is a popular tool for stabilizing an iPad or iPhone when shooting still images or video. The iOGrapher has a tripod mount on the bottom and a spot for a microphone up top.
Canon USA is a sponsor of Innovation J-Camp and sends the latest equipment so students can create outstanding photo and video stories.
