Overview

Incight is an informational app where users who are fearful of the dentist can learn about upcoming procedures and can communicate with their dentist, letting them know what specific fears worry them. This allows for the doctor to prepare both mentally and physically to accommodate their patients’ unique needs.

Problem Statment

There are many dental patients above the age of 18 who have uncontrolable phobias of the dentist because of poor or traumatic experiences in the past. Along with dentists who have trouble communicating with these sorts of patients who need special accomidations and education to recieve oral care. Recieving quality dental care takes two to tango, as dentists need to be willing and able to accomidate a scared patient, and the patient needs to be on top of keeping up with appointments. Currently the only hope a dentophobic patient has to build the drive to make an appointment are tips from random strangers online, or even worse, a pain in their mouth that's been ignored for far too long.

Value Proposition

Create a dental app that encourages patients to get the dental help they need by educating them on procedures before needing to get one done, improving communication between the doctor and the patient, and providing patients with items that will help them cope with the environmental stimuli, such as ear buds, stress toys and a breathing excersize watch with haptic feedback.
