The Girls Track and Field Team had a great outing at the 5A Upper State Championship meet hosted by Byrnes HS. The girls finished 7th overall adding more PR's to their season and many advancing to the State Championship. Highlights from the meet include: 3rd place Discus- Leilani Thomas, 3rd place Triple Jump- Aaliyah Berry, 2nd & 5th place Pole Vault- Jenna Campbell & Angel Huang, 7th place 200m- Paris Nelson, 7th place 400m- Ziyanae Wiggs, 1st place 100m hurdles- Aaliyah Berry, 3rd place 4x400 relay- Kari Johnson-Bowens, Kelsey Chisholm, Rose Belleastin and Paris Nelson, 6th place High Jump- Kamille Cunningham, 7th place Long Jump- Kamille Reese.

On Saturday the Vikings competed in the 5A Upper State Championship. The Vikings won the Upper State Championship with 110.5 points. The following Vikings finished as Upper State individual champions or runner up:
